Notes

Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Vegan Apple Crisp: Use King Arthur Measure for Measure Gluten-Free Flour and Earth Balance Vegan Buttery Sticks. Both are gluten-free, non-dairy, and vegan.
Gluten-Free Cranberry Apple Crisp: Add ½ cup of cranberries to the filling mixture. Increase the two tablespoons of white sugar to ¼ cup of white sugar.
Kids in the Kitchen Tip: Let the kids mix the topping ingredients in a 1-gallon silicone bag. They can squish and mash the ingredients until combined, then help you add the topping the apple crisp.
