WICKED! Fudge: Pink Goes Good With Green
This Pink & Green fudge is Popular with Wicked fans, but “not quite as popular as meeeeeeee!”
Perfect for an after-movie treat with girlfriends, a Wicked watch party dessert, or Awards Night sweets. You can even bring some with you to the… book place.
Make this swirled Pink & Green White Chocolate Fudge with only three ingredients faster than you can sing “Ahhh-AHHHH-ahhh-AH-ahhhhhhhhhh” You will have to wait for the fudge to set, but not as long as you’ll be waiting for the release of Wicked Part 2.
All three of the ingredients are labeled gluten-free. Those of us with celiac disease turn green when eating gluten… and not in a good way.

3 Ingredients
- 12 oz Nestle White Chocolate Morsels
- ½ tub Pillsbury Funfetti Vibrant Green Vanilla Frosting
- ½ tub Pillsbury Funfetti Hot Pink Vanilla Frosting
That’s it. Three easy, and very sweet, ingredients. It is just too good.
Can’t find Funfetti Vibrant Green and Hot Pink? Try Holiday Green and Strawberry Frosting, and make Wicked Strawberry Fudge. Or use any vanilla frosting and mix gel food coloring into the frosting before adding the white chocolate chips.
Step-By-Step Instructions
Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. This makes it easy to lift the fudge right out of the dish once it has set.
Place half of the white chocolate chips and half the tub of green frosting in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds. Stir. Melt in additional 15-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth.
Patience is key here. Overheating the white chocolate will cause it to turn into a clumpy mess that cannot be returned to a liquid state. This happens very quickly, so err on the side of being slow. If there are just a few pieces of white chocolate left, continue stirring until they melt into the warm mixture.
Now, it’s time for pink! In another microwave-safe bowl, repeat the process with the remaining half of the white chocolate chips and half the tub of pink frosting. See below for what to do with the leftover frosting.
(I like to multi-task, so I make the green and pink frosting at the same time. Popping them in and out of the microwave while I stir the other. If that’s not your style, the green mixture may set a bit while you prep the pink one. Simply, pop it back in the microwave for 5 seconds and give it another stir before filling the baking dish.)
Work quickly so the fudge does not start to set. Drop large spoonfuls of each color randomly into a parchment-lined baking dish.
Use a knife to gently swirl the colors together, being careful not to over-mix or the colors will bleed. I make a quick repeated “s” pattern (across the dish, down about an inch, across the pan in the other direction, down about an inch, and repeat 1-2 times).
Place the fudge in the refrigerator to chill until it is set, approximately one hour.
Lift the fudge out of the dish using the parchment paper. Use a sharp knife to slice it into 36 pieces.
Variations
Swirls vs. Layers. The swirls look more fun, in my opinion, but you can simply layer the fudge. That’s a choice. To layer, pour the green frosting-chocolate mixture into the baking dish and spread evenly. Then pour the pink layer on top, spreading into an even layer with a spatula.
Add Sprinkles. Before chilling the fudge in the refrigerator, top with sprinkles. You can use the sprinkles that are packaged in each Funfetti frosting lid. The Hot Pink Frosting comes with pink sugar sprinkles, but you’ll need to pick through the colors if you only want the green sprinkles from the Vibrant Green Frosting.
Adjust the Flavor: If you are not a fan of store-bought frosting, I highly recommend adding a splash of vanilla extract to the frosting.
Or get creative with flavors to match the colors, like pistachio, lime, peppermint, cherry, and raspberry. If flavoring both colors, make sure the flavors are complimentary.
Mix ½ teaspoon of your chosen extract into one or both frosting colors before adding the white chocolate chips.
Modify the colors of this simple recipe for any other holiday or event:
- Super Bowl: team colors
- Christmas: red & green
- Gender Reveal: pink & blue
- Valentine’s Day: use strawberry & cream cheese frosting tubs
Make Ahead
Store the Wicked Fudge pieces in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. If stacking the fudge, place parchment paper between the layers.
What Do I Do with Leftover Frosting?
- Make Wicked Fudge again next week? RIGHT!
- Frost Wicked cupcakes.
- Double the recipe, so there isn’t any leftover frosting. Make in a 9×13″ baking dish.
- Decorate Wicked cookies. Use my easy gluten-free sugar cookie recipe with these Glinda and Elphaba cookie cutters.
- Save the frosting for later. Seal and store in the fridge for up to two weeks or in the freezer for up to 2 or 3 months.
Important Tips!
Be patient when heating the white chocolate chips. The chocolate can go from beautifully melted to irretrievably clumpy very quickly. Melt in short increments, and stir the mixture completely between increments. If there are just small pieces of chocolate left, continue to stir and they will melt into the warm mixture.
Barely swirl the fudge with just one pass through each area. If over-swirled, the colors will bleed, in which case, pink will not go good with green.
